and Technical advising

LUBESAFE technical visit

Our experienced Marine Engineers are available at short notice in main ports worldwide to assist with:

UniMarine will ensure that one of our LUBESAFE Technical Marine Engineer is available to provide 24/7 technical support to our Customers’ fleet. A Switch Over or New Building Technical visit will be planned in accordance to the vessel’s schedule or the Shipyard as the case may be.

The UniMarine Technical Engineer shall:

These visits will be made at convenient ports for our Technical Engineers in accordance with the vessel’s schedule and/or upon your requirements for these technical visits.

After each UniMarine Technical Visit, a detailed report will be provided (including pictures of findings on board as the case may be) so to implement the required preventive maintenance actions.


You vessel are followed by UniMarine technical experts, from Shipyard and Lubechart revision/definition to routine visit on board and regular supplying.

We help you define the optimum lubrication strategy for your vessel based on your vessel OEM standard and target engine usage.

LUBESAFE Technical Training

UniMarine shall organize upon request specific technical trainings on shore and on board on the following marine lubrication themes:

  • Use of LUBESAFE Technical Services in order to enhance preventive maintenance of the vessels
  • How to manage lubrication services to contribute to your budget’s saving plan.
  • Innovation & new Technology in Lubrication
  • Lubricants and Fuels interaction: slow steaming and Lubrication, new types of engines and lubrication, Low Sulphur Fuels and Lubrication…
  • LUBESAFE Cylinder Scrap Down Oil Analysis training

Trainings can be provided in most of the required languages upon request (typically English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian and Chinese).

Annual Technical Conference

UniMarine convenes a yearly Technical conference in order to share information on new topics impacting Marine Lubricants and the Shipping Industry (Maritime Regulation, Research & Development for tomorrow’s products and technical solutions, Evolution of the Shipping environment…).
